Hitler's Foreign Policies Prior to WWII
The ultimate goal of Hitler was to establish Germany as a great central power in Europe, and eventually the world.

There were 3 main aims of his foreign policy:
1.1. Destroying the Treaty of Versailles – felt the treaty limited Germany’s abilities to prosper and thrive; placed limits on Hitlers militarization policies
2. Unite all the German speaking people in one country – implementing policies of Pan-Germanism in Hopes of creating a greater, more powerful Germany (
Großdeutschland)
3. Expand their territory to gain “living space”, Lebensraum, for the German people – expand into the East: Poland, Ukraine etc.

Hitler initiated a series of actions that violated the treaty of Versailles, until ultimately the bind of the treaty on Germany was lost due to the lack of action by countries of the League of Nations, such as Great Britain and France
